Acrylic[edit]
System of nail also called acrylic nails. It is a derivation of the system-of-nails porcelain.2
This type of nail is constructed by mixing two components acrylic, a liquid (monomer) and a powder acrylic (a polymer). The mixing of these two components makes a paste that hardens or sets in contact with the air, forming a layer that adheres immediately to the nail, blanqueándolas of the constant wear they receive by being exposed to all sorts of external aggressions.

Gel[edit]
Known as "gel nails are the nails from gel, acrylic, UV reactive, which hardens under ultraviolet light. The esthetician holds the device hardening (uv lamp) in which the client introduces his hand once placed the gel on the nails. Such gels can be of different color and density and will use some or others depending on the work to be performed.
